Management Drives

An organization cannot change its culture without understanding what drives the behavior of the managers being asked to lead the change.

According to Dr. Clare W. Graves, people are driven by values. Graves distinguishes among various values systems through which we each have our own worldview. From these worldviews we derive a set of norms that we use to decide what is good or bad, important or unimportant.

The Management Drives assessment highlights day-to-day motivation and style of management and is a useful tool for mentoring discussions on management behavior and performance inside the organization. Completing the test, which comprises of 20 questions, takes approximately 15 minutes. Over 200,000 employees worldwide have taken the Management Drives profile. The success of the Drives survey is established through 99% Face Validity in the ability of participants to recognize their drives in the results.
